We advocate for healthy skin through the prevention and treatment of dermatologic conditions. Our staff strives to individualize patient treatment plans with the highest level of professionalism in a warm welcoming environment. We are committed to patient satisfaction and strive to provide excellent dermatologic care for all our patients.
All our physician providers are fellow members of the American Academy of Dermatology and have advanced training in caring for all aspects of skin, hair and nails. As dermatologists, they are highly specialized and uniquely trained to care for over 3,000 different skin disorders and have unique knowledge on preventative skin health care measures and techniques for improving skin appearance.
Andrea Mabry, MD
Dr. Andrea Mabry is a Mississippi native who has now made Arkansas her home. She grew up in Booneville, MS and graduated from Booneville High School. She graduated summa cum laude from The University of Mississippi where she received a BS in Pharmaceutical Sciences and was a member of Rho Chi honors pharmacy society. She received her medical degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where she graduated magna cum laude and was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honors medical society. She completed her medical internship and dermatology residency at UAMS, where she served as Chief Resident during her final year of training. Dr. Mabry is excited to continue her career as an Arkansan and is now a proud member of the Pinnacle Dermatology team!!
Dr. Mabry enjoys all aspects of adult general dermatology, surgical, pediatric, and cosmetic dermatology. She is double board certified by the American Board of Dermatology in General Dermatology and Mohs Micrographic Surgery. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Mabry served as president of the Arkansas Dermatological Society in 2021 and is a current member. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, exploring new hobbies, reading and traveling.
Marla Wirges, MD
Marla Wirges grew up in Arkansas and graduated from Pine Bluff High School. She graduated cum laude from Vanderbilt University where she received a BS in Mathematics and Psychology. She received her medical degree from UAMS and was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honors medical society. She completed her surgical internship at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center before proceeding onto her dermatology residency training. Her final year in training she served as Chief Resident and she received her specialty board certification in dermatology in 2006. She moved back home to Arkansas where she served as Associate Professor at UAMS for 7 years, both treating patients and teaching a new generation of residents. Her final two years she also served as Residency Director for the Department of Dermatology as well as a physician at the VA Hospital caring for our veterans. Dr. Wirges is now a proud member of the Pinnacle Dermatology team!!
Dr. Wirges enjoys all aspects of adult general dermatology as well as surgical and cosmetic dermatology. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology as well as a member of the Arkansas Dermatological Society. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, family bike rides, and travel.
Kayla Mohr, MD
Dr. Kayla Mohr is from San Antonio, Texas, but after living in Arkansas for 14 years she considers herself an Arkansan. She graduated cum laude from University of Central Arkansas where she received a BS in Biology. She received her medical degree with honors in research from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha honors medical society and received several academic scholarships. She completed her medical internship and dermatology residency at UAMS, where she served as Chief Resident during her final year of training. Dr. Mohr is very excited to be a new member of the Pinnacle Dermatology team!
Dr. Mohr enjoys all aspects of adult general dermatology, surgical, pediatric, and cosmetic dermatology. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, outdoor activities, lake activities, cooking as a family, and travel.
Alissa Huberty, PA-C
Alissa is an Arkansas native and was awarded a four-year Presidential Scholarship to the University of Central Arkansas where she received a bachelor's degree in Biology. After a few years of research, she further pursued a career in medicine by obtaining a master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences graduating with honors in 2015. During the clinical training portion, patients piqued her interest in Dermatology as their skin questions spanned across all rotations in both clinic and procedural environments.
Since graduation, Alissa has enjoyed all aspects of adult/adolescent general dermatology as a Dermatology Physician Assistant in an academic outpatient setting and assisting in clinical trials. She is now excited to be a member of the Pinnacle Dermatology team. During her free time, Alissa enjoys living with her husband and two kids, cooking, doing outdoor activities, reading, and traveling.
Chelsea Newey, PA-C
Chelsea is originally from Colorado, however, after 12 years of living in Arkansas, she now considers it her home. At the beginning of her career, she trained as a surgical technician at Baptist Health Schools and assisted in the Baptist Medical Center OR for eight years while completing her undergraduate coursework at the University of Arkansas – Little Rock. There she received her BS in Biology with a minor in Psychology and later went on to obtain her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from UAMS where she also received three academic achievement scholarships and graduated with Honors.
She found her love for dermatology while being a surgical assistant for a MOHS surgeon and now is excited to return to dermatology as a Physician Assistant at Pinnacle Dermatology. Chelsea enjoys all aspects of adult and pediatric general dermatology and surgical and cosmetic dermatology. When not helping our patients, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She also enjoys sewing outfits and baking.
