Good Faith Estimate Policy

Under the Good Faith Estimate Law, when requested by the patient we are required to provide you with an estimate of the total price in which you may be charged for nonemergency health care service. Estimates are not binding on the practitioner. The final price may vary from the estimate based on the patient’s medical needs. The estimate provided does not include additional services that may be needed, such as Dermatopathology and Immunodermatology (diagnostic testing of fluids or tissue, and additional staining. The estimate is only good for 30 days. If you wish to have an estimate, please ask one of our staff members to assist you.

Skin tags

Unlike medical procedures, skin tag removal is generally not a service covered by insurance. As a result, it is paid for out-of-pocket by the patient. The cost per routine skin tag removal for cosmetic purposes can range between $150 to $300, depending on location and size. The cost can be higher if multiple skin tags are being removed.
